The Greater Cleveland Shiva Vishnu Temple has been a beacon of Hindu spiritual life and culture in Northeast Ohio for over four decades. From humble beginnings at a rented location to a beautiful 32-acre temple complex housing over 15 deities, our temple has grown through the dedication of countless devotees and volunteers.

1983
- Determined "Greater Cleveland Shiva Vishnu Temple" as the name
1984
- Founding members chartered Temple with the State of Ohio
- Opened Bank Account for Temple
1985
- Temple at rented location (West 120 and Lorain Rd) — Started regular Pooja
- Architectural drawings of the planned Temple blessed by Kanchi Kamakoti Shankaracharya
- Appointed Board of Trustees, Secretary and Treasurer
1987
- Started search for and secured 32 Acres of Parcel at Ridge Rd, Parma, Ohio
1989
- Performed Bhoomi Pooja — Temple Inauguration
1990
- Pooja performed at Old Temple — Added Parking Lot
1996
- Bhoomi Pooja (ground breaking) for the new Temple building
1997
- Started construction of the new (present) Temple
- Youth Connection and Bridge to Our Heritage
- Inauguration of the New Temple
