Lakshmi
Lakshmi stands for the Lord's aspect that is All Sampatti (resources and wealth) in the universe. It covers both spiritual as well as material wealth. Since resources are inseparable from the power to sustain, Lakshmi is considered as Lord Vishnu's consort and consequently, the deity has feminine form. Students pursuing the spiritual path also invoke Goddess Lakshmi's grace to gain required 'Shadasampatti' (six folds of inner personality qualities) which are pre-requisite to gain Knowledge. Mahalakshmi, Vishnupriya are other names of Lakshmi. The Lord, when invoked as Goddess Lakshmi, blesses devotees with all resources. The vedic installation ceremony was performed on July 5, 1998.
